She has been heavily influenced by her love of animation, like Sailor Moon and Disney films, as well as the art nouveau artists like Alphonse Mucha.
In the last year, she has participated in a number of gallery showings with York, as well as helped created art for the tabletop game "Trails of the Magi". Currently she is dabbling in a variety of things, such as pyrotechnics and costuming.
Elyse is simply a Toronto nail artist trying to make good use of her art education. After studying at both OCAD and Sheridan, She soon realized the art scene, in the traditional sense, didn't suit her, so she made up an art career that worked for her. She strives to bring people joy and laughter with her designs and hopes to bring a touch of light to those that come across them.
Angela Zhang is a Toronto based illustrator who helps individuals and businesses tell their story in unique and engaging ways. She believes images and stories can be transformative experiences that heighten empathy. Whether she’s working on a comic or a single painting, creating a narrative is a central part of her image making process.
Her journey in visual storytelling started at a very young age. Growing up in Winnipeg with its many long winters, she would spend her free time scribbling comics on the back of her mom’s Ph.D. thesis drafts. Her passion for art & story has evolved from childhood play. As the internet opened new opportunities for artists, her audience broadened & she pursued illustration full-time.
Angela believes that style is the artist’s personal expression of what they love. Her own eclectic tastes, including video games, manga, film noir and Romantic landscape painting, have allowed her to develop a few different styles. She is proud to have teamed up with Arrow & Vine to create illustrations and gifts that are 100% Canadian designed, celebrate the city of Brampton, and feature cute cats!

Lover of all things creative and artsy, Yesenia developed an interest in the arts at a very young age. From her early elementary days to recent times, you’ll find her doodling or sketching in the margins of her class notes. It started out as drawing odd looking doodles and her skills and passion have developed since then. With too many sketchbooks lying around her room to keep track of, it’s not a secret that growing up she always found joy in all forms of artistic expression.
